How we handle your data

Bakker Energie Techniek is the controller of your personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can reach us at info@bakkerenergietechniek.nl or +31 6 19683900.

We process only the data you provide to us yourself through the contact or quote form:

• Name and contact details (email, telephone)
• Postcode and address details for the installation
• The content of your request or message
• Conversation content from the AI advisor, insofar as you share personal information in it

We process your data on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): to handle quote requests and schedule installations.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): to answer contact enquiries and improve our services.

To provide our services we use the following processors: Resend (email delivery) and Anthropic (AI advisor). Both are established outside the European Union. Transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or an equivalent appropriate safeguard. We conclude a data processing agreement with every party that processes personal data on our behalf.

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Quote data and correspondence are kept for as long as the business relationship is active and for at most 2 years afterwards. Accounting records are kept for 7 years in line with the statutory tax retention obligation. AI conversation content is not kept longer than needed to handle your request.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

• The right of access to the personal data we process about you.
• The right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• The right to erasure (the "right to be forgotten").
• The right to restriction of processing.
• The right to data portability.
• The right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.

You can send a request to exercise your rights to info@bakkerenergietechniek.nl. We handle it within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

We place no tracking or marketing cookies. For anonymous visitor statistics we use Vercel Analytics. This processes no personal data and places no cookies.
