Our terms and conditions

These terms apply to the use of the Bakker Energie Techniek website and to the services offered through it (contact form, quote request, AI advisor). The actual installation and service work is governed by the Algemene Voorwaarden voor Installatiebedrijven voor Consumenten (AVIC) and by our Aanvullende Algemene Voorwaarden. These are attached to every quote and can be downloaded below.

The AI advisor on this website provides informative advice without obligation, based on the information you supply. No rights can be derived from the outcome of a conversation. You always receive definitive advice and a price quotation in a written quote.

A quote request through the website is without obligation and does not constitute a binding agreement. An agreement is formed only after both parties confirm a formal quote in writing.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from their date, unless stated otherwise. All prices stated include VAT, unless expressly indicated otherwise.

Work is carried out by certified installers in accordance with NEN 1010, NEN 3140 and VCA. We aim to complete the work within the agreed period. In the event of force majeure or circumstances beyond our control we are not liable for delay.

For a distance contract (for example a quote accepted by email) you as a consumer are in principle entitled to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without giving reasons (Art. 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code). That right lapses once installation has started with your express consent before the withdrawal period has expired. We ask you for that consent explicitly before the work begins.

Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Warranty provisions for work carried out and products supplied are set out in the AVIC terms and in the warranty conditions of the manufacturer concerned. For questions or complaints you can contact us at info@bakkerenergietechniek.nl.

Bakker Energie Techniek is not liable for inaccuracies in the website content, or for advice from the AI advisor that does not match the actual situation. Liability for installation and service work carried out is governed exclusively by the AVIC terms.

We process the personal data you provide to us solely in order to deliver our services. You can read how we handle your data in our privacy policy on this website.

All offers, quotes and agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes are preferably settled by mutual consultation. If that is not possible, they are submitted to the competent court.
